Celebrating WNRs

Funtimes at the dirty santa gift exchange and party at Cindy's last Wednesday. Thanks so much Cindy for being (as always!) such a great host!

Congrats to all the WNRs who raced this weekend:

Recent WNR attendee, Andy Baksa won the Kiawah Half Marthon in a speedy time of 1:08:56! Obviously he benefited from the good karma that comes along with hangin around WRNs :)

I noticed in the results several WRNs tackled the Oak Ridge half marathon & took home age group awards too! Way to go TR, Tlee, Laurie, Doris...and others.... I saw the results somewhere yesterday, but now I can't find them again! Those are the names I remember seeing off the top of my head though :)

Also props to Pete, saw he got out there in the rain for the Jingle bell 5k downtown. Other WRNs were probably there too, but I got tired of scrolling through results...so congrats as well to everyone I missed who got out and raced last weekend!

Cooper River Bridge Run!

Hey KTC peeps! I'm glad to hear you all have had some great racing going on these days. I just wanted to pop in to say hi and put a bug in your ear about a road trip for the Cooper River Bridge Run. It's the weekend after the Knoxville Marathon (5 Apr 08), so no excuse this year to not head to Charleston for a great 10k race. I will be flying in from LA so I hope to see you then!
